B&N offers a variety of services during construction and rehabilitation projects. We provide continuous or part-time project representation and engineering services, including periodic job site visits; review of shop drawings; approval and preparation of estimates and change orders; evaluation of schedules and actual progress; review of materials, methods, and equipment; review of laboratory testing; inspection of materials; and consultation and recommendations regarding construction.

B&N environmental scientists, engineers and geologists have an in-depth knowledge of federal, state and local regulations. They use this information to quickly and accurately analyze sites and build consensus at the lowest level of environmental documentation necessary to obtain agency approval.

Our experience includes more than 150 environmental assessment impact statements including NEPA documents and categorical exclusion statements. In addition, our public involvement expertise helps build consensus around controversial issues.

For more than 30 years, B&N’s geotechnical group has provided solutions to hydrogeological problems for clients in government and industry.

Transportation projects often involve the need for additional right-of-way to accommodate design improvements. Our project teams work closely with clients to minimize impacts, reduce costs and meet aggressive project schedules.

We understand that complete and accurate mapping of a site’s existing conditions is the foundation of any project. Our experienced survey staff has proven success in acquiring this critical data to help ensure that your project gets off to the right start.
