B&N was invited to be a part of the City of Columbus Vision Zero working group, presented by the Department of Public Service. The Vision Zero initiative comprises four pillars: Safe People, Safe Speeds, Safe Streets and Safe Vehicles. B&N attended working sessions for each pillar’s subcommittee to discuss safety issues and provide guidance on countermeasures. The feedback given helped create the final product, the City's Vision Zero Action Plan.
