The B&N Design-Build Team concurrently completed the $19.7 million 3rd Division 228-person, three story barracks complex with the $16.9 million SOF Aviation Battalion, 200-person three story 73,223 SF barracks complex. The 3rd Division complex is in the Main Fort area. Each barracks design utilized identical floor plan schemes.

The 3rd Division Barracks complex includes two barracks buildings, POV parking, and landscaped courtyard areas. One barracks building is 16,377 SF and houses 44 soldiers (2 per living module). The second barracks building is 66,220 SF and houses 184 soldiers (2 per living module). Both barracks buildings are three stories in height. This barracks site was extremely limited in size and required extensive coordination of existing utility infrastructure connection points as well as architectural and scale compatibility with an adjacent, existing dining facility and barracks.

B&N utilized an integrated design approach for this project. Meeting the schedule, providing quality design and construction and lowering the risk to the government were the goals.
