Hunting and shooting sports enthusiasts in Delaware, Ohio, have a newly upgraded place to hone their archery and firearm skills. Working with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife, B&N led the remediation of the original range and design of a new shooting range at the Delaware Wildlife Area, just north of Columbus.
The reconstruction and expansion project, located on approximately 10 acres, replaced the existing shooting range that was susceptible to frequent flooding and the existing archery range, which was subject to vandalism. Both ranges were too small to support local interest and lacked restrooms and permanent buildings for maintenance and operations staff.
