Burgess & Niple has partnered with American Electric Power (AEP) to help evaluate properties under their Quality Sites Program. The program identifies optimal project-ready sites for customer development across AEP’s 11-state territory. B&N’s in-depth site reviews help minimize risks, while saving potential developers time and money.
The sites have undergone extensive evaluation to ensure they meet AEP’s stringent readiness standards which are intended to minimize overall site location risk, save time and reduce site development costs.
B&N has conducted in-depth reviews of 31 sites in ten states, evaluating numerous critical factors for industrial development projects. GIS was leveraged to enhance the analysis, providing detailed insights into the suitability and potential of each site using the following factors:
AEP is actively marketing the sites and promoting them to site selectors globally. In Huntington, West Virginia, the Tri-State Aeroplex Industrial Park, which is adjacent to Tri-State Airport, is one of the B&N-reviewed sites that received an AEP Quality Site designation. Approximately three miles from Interstate 64, the site includes 95 acres that are ready for industrial development.
