B&N Elects New Owner and Indianapolis District Director
Burgess & Niple is pleased to welcome back Josh Cook, PE, who has been elected a B&N Owner. Josh will serve as the Indianapolis District Director following the retirement of Scott Sondles, PE announced earlier this month.
Josh has over 21 years of experience collaborating with clients to deliver innovative solutions focused on roadway planning, design and implementation, including the delivery of a wide range of projects for the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT). In his new role at B&N he will lead transportation services, continue to build our relationships with INDOT and manage office operations.
Josh succeeds Scott Sondles, who will retire from B&N effective May 28, 2021. Scott helped establish B&N’s Indianapolis office in 1991 and since that time has worked primarily with INDOT developing innovative and cost-efficient engineering design solutions. This included the largescale Ohio River Bridges Section 6 and I-69 Section 5 projects, both in the Seymour District. Scott also helped found INDOT’s Shop Plan Review and Consultant Design programs and in 2009 he was named the ACEC Indiana Engineer of the Year.
