Roundabout Recognized with Top Award in Kentucky
LOUISVILLE, Kentucky - B&N finished on top at the 2016 American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) Derby City Section Transportation Improvement Awards. A new roundabout in London received the highest award in Kentucky for projects under $5 million.
The award was presented to B&N and the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) for the transformation of a four-way stop into a new roundabout that helped improve safety and capacity issues at the intersection of KY 363/KY 1006. The redesign eliminated lengthy back-ups and congestion that caused travel delays.
