A strategic safety plan tailored to a community’s needs is critical for safer transportation systems. B&N’s process of working with clients and stakeholders to develop safe systems starts with planning and ends with implementation and design.
Through this process, we prioritize locations for further study or improvements. Our knowledge of Highway Safety Manual (HSM) methodologies and the analysis process allows us to identify improvements that can be implemented quickly while keeping costs low. When larger improvements are beneficial, we investigate safety funding strategies to implement more complex, higher-cost solutions.
