This session, adapted from a four-hour workshop conducted at the 2024 AWWA Water Infrastructure Conference in Phoenix, AZ, will provide exercises with basic and advanced facility physical condition assessment frameworks so participants can experience the pros and cons of each and evaluate what type of framework is appropriate for their utility.

Attendees will be given photos of different types of assets, and together, using polling software, they will rate the condition of each asset. We will also discuss the pros and cons of the frameworks in terms of conducting the assessments and how the resultant data is used to make asset decisions.
