Come work with senior-level professionals at an established A/E firm that value employee input and collaboration. Burgess & Niple is looking for a CADD Designer to join our team in Tempe.

B&N CADD Designer Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineers to support the development and execution of transportation drafting and design projects
  • Utilize your expertise in CAD software to produce accurate and detailed technical drawings
  • Ensure that all documentation meets client standards, project specifications, and regulatory standards
  • Designers shall possess an understanding and familiarity with the sequence, development, and content of all project stage submittals
  • Extend your skills beyond Arizona by providing valuable support in project development across various regions
  • Conduct thorough reviews and quality checks on drawings and materials to guarantee accuracy and completeness
  • Lead design file creation/progression, sheet file creation and progression, and project CAD setup
  • Assist with the 3D modeling of corridors and creation of corridor templates and assemblies
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in CAD software
  • Share knowledge, present, teach, and lead the implementation of new tools and techniques to enhance efficiency and productivity in project design and delivery

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Vocational school or associate degree in related program a plus
  • 0-2 years CADD related experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office and OpenRoads Designer required
  • Software experience using MicroStation, Bentley Connect, ProjectWise, Bluebeam, and OpenRoads Designer corridor modeling preferred
  • Candidate should have good communication, strong understanding of plan clarity, attention to detail, and desire to learn
