Come work alongside our Florida Traffic Team and collaborate with industry leaders in transportation. We are looking for Traffic Engineer to join our team in either Orlando or Tampa, FL.

B&N Traffic Engineer Responsibilities

  • As part of a project team, collaborate on plan production to produce high quality plans, specifications that follow agency standards and guidelines  
  • Manage and coordinate project drawings using MicroStation, OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD software
  • Complete design tasks and produce high quality plans, specifications, and estimate deliverables to create an exemplary client experience
  • Manage and coordinate project drawings using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD software
  • Collaborate with engineering staff on technical challenges while adhering to task performance indicators, budgets, and schedules

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited civil engineering program
  • EI/EIT registration in the State of Florida
  • 2+ years of progressive technical experience plan development for traffic engineering design projects
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microstation, OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD software required
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
