Burgess & Niple is seeking a Bridge Inspection Business Leader in our Oklahoma City office to be a part of our national team. Collaborate with some of the top bridge inspection experts in the industry ensuring the safety of travelling public.

B&N Bridge Inspection Business Leader Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the Oklahoma Bridge Inspection section including utilization, profitability, growth and marketing, talent management, coaching and mentoring
  • Plan, manage, execute and deliver complex and routine bridge inspection and assessment projects on-time, on budget, and to the performance expectations of the client
  • Create and monitor scopes of work and budgets for various projects for ODOT, local agencies, and regional clients
  • Monitor all financial aspects of the project including invoicing, budget status, accounts receivable, and monthly reports
  • Develop and implement business development growth plan for the bridge inspection section including client relations and proposal development  

Skills & Qualifications

  • A Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET-accredited civil or structural engineering or equivalent program
  • Oklahoma Professional Engineer (PE) Registration and ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity within six months
  • 10+ years of related bridge inspection project and staff management experience
  • Microsoft Office and CAD software proficiency required, MicroStation and Open Roads design software is highly preferred
  • Working knowledge of ProjectWise and AASHTOWare Project are a plus; Bridge Inspection & Design software experience is highly preferred
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills with experience maintaining client relationships
