Survey Technician

• Minimum Experience: Entry Level

Collaborate with industry leaders, learn from experienced surveyors, and work as part of a project team on a wide variety of tasks and projects in the field and office.

B&N Survey Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform survey work (field and office) under the direction of a Professional Surveyor
• Familiar with survey technical software
• Perform field work and survey computations for boundaries, subdivisions, easements, and existing topographic base mapping; deed research in various jurisdictions
• Assist on preparation of plats, legal descriptions and ODOT right-of-way plans
• Operate CADD and survey software
• Utilize and maintain survey field equipment

Skills and Qualifications:

• Beginning level knowledge of survey computations and CADD
• Trade school with survey experience considered or Bachelor's in Surveying preferred 
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D and/or Open Roads
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Ability to travel within the region
• Self-motivated and adaptable, tech savvy that includes the capability to learn new surveying technologies
