Come work with senior-level professionals at an established A/E firm that value employee input and collaboration. Burgess & Niple is looking for a Roadway Engineer, Entry Level to join our team in Mentor, OH.

B&N Roadway Engineer, Entry Level Responsibilities:

  • Participate in delivering professional transportation design services to a wide variety of clients throughout Ohio
  • Projects could include plan preparation, geometric design, pavement rehabilitation, drainage design, utility design, traffic control design, maintenance of traffic design, report writing and field work
  • Collaborate with Professional Engineers and design staff to solve complex engineering problems
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines such as traffic, structures, lighting, and utilities

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited civil engineering program
  • EI or EIT registration or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • 0-2 years of related roadway design or study experience
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
  • MicroStation and/or AutoCAD experience with design programs a plus
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
