B&N Civil Engineer Responsibilities:

• Utilize and further develop existing drafting skills in AutoCAD on a variety of water sanitary sewer storm drain, and transportation projects for municipal clients in the region
• Increase your knowledge of municipal infrastructure design through real-life application of civil engineering
• Be involved in plan preparation, geometric design, pavement rehabilitation, drainage design, utility design, traffic control design, and maintenance of traffic design 
• Gain field experience to inspect, assess and verify infrastructure conditions
• Field work may include short duration documentation of construction activities, manhole inspection, and assistance with survey crews

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required or ability to obtain within 6 months
• 0-2 years of related civil engineering experience. Prior work experience, such as an internship, is desirable
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office required. Experience with AutoCAD is preferred. MicroStation experience is a plus, but not required
• Excellent communication skills and detail oriented
• Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
