Begin your career working with some of the top civil engineering experts in the industry. Burgess & Niple is looking for an entry level Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team in Evansville.

B&N Water/Wastewater Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior engineers with calculations, design, and contract document production for water/wastewater related projects. Projects may include gravity sewers, force mains, lift stations, water mains, booster stations, rehabilitation projects, and water and wastewater treatment facilities
  • Assist with design and drawing production using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Periodic field work and travel may be required
  • Work with Senior engineers on projects and grow in this role to become a production lead in the region

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited civil or environmental engineering program
  • EI/EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months from this application a plus
  • 0-2 years of related water/wastewater experience
  • Software experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit is a plus
  • Knowledge of sewer/water modeling software, or other related software is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and detail oriented
