Are you motivated, energetic and ready to take your career to the next level? Burgess & Niple is seeking a licensed Senior Project Manager – Architect to join our Cincinnati office.

B&N Senior Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Initiate design concepts, lead the development of construction documents, and carry a project through the construction administration process for multiple project types and sizes.
  • Create and develop scopes of work and budgets for projects.
  • Responsible for managing all aspects of project document development and coordinating with all project team members to maintain the quality of the work product within the established project schedule.
  • Meet scope, schedule and budget expectations on projects by consistently monitoring key metrics, milestones, etc. while proactively making adjustments as necessary to ensure success.
  • Conduct technical reviews in support of our Quality Control program.
  • Prepare cost estimates, specification manuals, and design analysis manuals.
  • Interact with clients on a regular basis. Attend meetings with client/contractor related to architectural aspects. Present and sell design solutions at client meetings and public hearings.
  • Manage and coordinate consultants providing services for assigned projects
  • Plan, schedule, coordinate, and oversee the work of junior-level Architects and mentor other staff members as needed.
  • Participate in strategic business planning, development of client relationship programs, and assessment of new business opportunities.
  • Develop project work plans and actively manage the plans to ensure successful and timely completion. Assume full responsibility for the project’s progress.  Ensure projects are within budgets, completed on schedule and meet or exceed professional standards of work.
  • Assist in development of proposals.
  • Review and prepare project invoicing.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required from an NAAB accredited program
  • Registered Architect in Ohio with a NCARB certificate or ability to obtain through reciprocity
  • Fifteen or more years of related experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop fee proposals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, REVIT, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Bluebeam
  • Client interfacing experience
  • Excellent communication skills and detail oriented
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
