We are expanding our team and are looking for a motivated Traffic Engineer in our Boise, Idaho office to join us in making a positive impact on the quality of life in the communities we serve.

What a Senior Traffic Engineer job is all about:

  • You have the opportunity to be part of a project team, collaborating with industry leaders in transportation
  • You’ll be part of the development of signal, signing and striping, and traffic control plans
  • You’ll be a leader on studies and capacity analysis projects
  • You’ll prepare traffic impact studies and traffic analysis for ITD and Idaho local governments
  • You’ll continue to develop skills in complete traffic engineering and technical ability
  • You’ll engage with the transportation industry to identify marketing opportunities and build strategic business development relationships

 What you need to make an impact:  

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited civil engineering program
  • 5+ years of related civil engineering experience
  • PE Certification Required, PTOE desired
  • ITD or local PNW experience preferred
  • Project management experience desired
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HCS is required
  • Familiarity with traffic software such as Microstation and/or CAD, TransModeler is preferred
  • Strong interest in transportation engineering and motivated to improve the efficiency and safety of transportation systems
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
